As you may already know, the club is firmly rooted in Newark and has been since 1868. We are owned and managed by ordinary individuals within the local community, namely our hard working volunteers, Board of Directors and current members. 
 
Whilst both our Men’s and Ladies senior teams have had a great deal of success in recent years, the vast majority of our players are local youngsters, supported by their dedicated parents, grandparents and guardians. 
 
In short, we are a club that exists in the community, owned by the community, run by the community, for the community. 
 
We are now updating our membership scheme to attract more players (of all ages), parents and supporters to become shareholders, with a real stake in the club. 
 
You can now show your pride in your local club by becoming a shareholder for only £5.00 per year. 
 
Each shareholder will receive: 
- One share in the club. This will entitle you to take part in the election of the club's Board of Directors each year, or even to stand for the Board yourself. No one is allowed to hold more than one share, so we all get an equal say in how the club is run. 
- The chance to attend the Annual General Meeting. 
- A membership card. 
- A share certificate, detailing your own specific share in our club. 
- Three digital newsletters each year, with news and information from across the club, from the Senior First Teams and throughout the Junior Section.

£1.00 from your first year's membership payment will pay for your share in Newark Town Football Club.
