Newark Town FC have launched a consultation to determine how best to restart our PAN Disability football offering.
As a Club, we believe in football being open to all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality and disability. We are an inclusive club and we want to re-start our PAN Disability offering, something we have not offered for a few years now.
The FA describes PAN Disability football as 'for players with a broad spectrum of impairments and health conditions to play together.' It is open to anybody who has a disability, impairment or long-term health condition as defined by the Equalities Act 2010. Please note, blind players are directed to impairment-specific football due to health and safety implications.
PAN Disability football is the largest disability-specific football pathway, and Newark Town is committed to improving its offering. However, to do this, we need to be clear that a) there is a want and need in the town and local area, and b) what that want and need is. Therefore, we have launched a consultation to gather information about what the town and the local area wants for a PAN Disability setup.
We therefore kindly ask that if you, or someone you represent, would be interested in playing PAN Disability football with Newark Town, could you please fill out the following survey: https://forms.gle/u6P9HiqT9iRWBWieA
This consultation will run until 30th April 2025. Following which, we will consider the responses before shaping and communicating our PAN Disability plan, wit the intention to start during the Summer.
If you are interested in volunteering to help manage, coach or assist our PAN Disability section, or if you require any further information, please contact Josh Feehily via email at ntfcyouthlead@gmail.com.
